Summer Update – People and Projects

We’re more than half way through 2021 now, and what a year it has been so far! The office is coming back to life as we steadily welcome back clients and visitors, and it has been a hive of activity behind the scenes. Here is a snappy round-up to bring you up to speed:

People

We have taken on two new team members: Trainee Paraplanner Barney Wood, and Client Services Administrator Natalie Hebden.

Barney joins us in his first technical paraplanning role, though he is by no means new to the industry. He has already achieved his level 4 financial planning diploma and has gained valuable experience working in a compliance capacity, so he is well-acquainted with the financial advice process and keen to put his knowledge into practice. He has already been a fantastic addition to the team, and we look forward to seeing him progress.

Natalie is a talented client services professional with over 10 years’ experience in financial services. She has quickly taken on a range of responsibilities from supporting clients with queries, processing new business applications, liaising with providers and preparing review meeting packs. Like Barney, Natalie brings a great energy to the team and we are very glad to have her on board.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish Rebecca Dean, who has been a paraplanner with us for 4 years now, all the very best as she goes on maternity leave! Rebecca will be missed by the team, but we couldn’t be happier for her and can’t wait to meet the new arrival.

Projects

  • Security

We have just completed an IT systems upgrade. Security needs to keep pace with advancing technology and the upgrade ensures that we continue to have the tightest possible security in place to maintain the safety of client data. New laptops and monitors help to keep us working efficiently and facilitate transitions between home and office working.

  • Client Survey

Sit tight: the results of our recent client survey will be shared soon! Once again, many thanks to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts on their experience as an RB client.

  • New Website

Last but not least, we are currently in the process of finalising a brand-new website (due for launch in August). It has been designed to reflect who we are and what we stand for as a business in 2021 – with a big focus on our incredible client relationships and our culture and values . We can’t wait to share it with you and hear your feedback.
