Yorkshire IFA firm, Robertson Baxter, has recently moved into a new home following positive growth of the business throughout 2018.
The IFA, which looks after high net worth individuals, companies, trustees and charities, is now located at Beck House, Abbey Road in Shepley, which offers the potential to accommodate further growth of the business; providing additional client meeting rooms and breakout areas for staff.
The building is located just half a mile down the road from their previous home, The Mill, which means that existing clients continue to enjoy a familiar location and also provides a more prominent location for new business, prompting 4 enquiries already from potential new clients since the start of the year.
Greg Robertson, CEO, said “The move to Beck House is a significant step for RB and we are excited to develop and grow into it. Following the celebration of our 10th birthday in 2017/18 we felt that it was the right time to look at the next steps to support the growth of the team and the business.”
Stephen Baxter, Managing Director, said “We spent time working with architects and builders to develop the property into the great space it is now. We took the positives from our previous office and learnt from the areas that could be improved upon, turning Beck House into a fantastic environment for both our clients and staff.”
Greg added, “Our team are incredibly important to us and ensuring they enjoy being at work is key to a successful workforce. We have also added a fully fitted kitchen to the office and this was greatly appreciated by the team when they cooked up a Christmas dinner which allowed everyone to get together before the festive break.”
The move comes after a significant year for RB, in which they were selected as Best Practice Representatives for the Parliamentary Review in 2018 and nominated for Financial Team of the Year at the Yorkshire Financial Awards 2019.
