A Message on Coronavirus from Robertson Baxter

Robertson Baxter is taking the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) extremely seriously. Our number one priority remains the safety and wellbeing of our people, clients and guests. Providing a safe and clean environment for you and our colleagues.

We are staying well informed of the developing situation and are following the advice and recommendations from the Government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation. The Prime Minister recommended on Monday 16th March that everyone in the UK should avoid β€˜non-essential’ travel and contact with others as such we have taken the decision to instruct our team to work from home with immediate effect.

You can be reassured that working from home is standard practice for Robertson Baxter. Most of our team have flexible working arrangements that allows them to work from home at least one day a week in normal circumstances. We are simply asking them to do this for a potentially longer period.

We can continue to carry out your financial plan and have robust contingencies in place to allow Robertson Baxter to continue to operate without disruption ensuring our client service remains unaffected. All of our team members are fully equipped to access our systems securely away from the office including taking your calls.

If you have a meeting already arranged, we will contact you to make alternative arrangements. We have the ability to use technology to replace conducting face to face meetings, we can accommodate this via telephone, Face Time, Skype or Zoom. We can of course reschedule to a later date if that would be more convenient.

We are in continual communication with all of our team members and continue to advise them to be stringent around hygiene and cleaning regimes including frequent thorough hand washing. Additionally, we are asking any team member with flu-like symptoms to self-isolate for seven days. We are requesting that if any team member has close personal contact with someone who has contracted the virus to self-isolate for a further fourteen days.

We thank you for choosing Robertson Baxter and for your understanding during what is a rapidly evolving and challenging situation. Our priority is to ensure the well-being of our team and clients whilst ensuring continuity of service. Preparations are in place to allow us to provide the level of service you would expect from us during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Now more than ever we are reminded of the importance of looking after our clients and colleagues.

Please keep you and yours safe and well.

The Robertson Baxter Team.
