Strategic appointment to consolidate recent growth and provide a platform for future growth
Robertson Baxter is pleased to announce the appointment of 2 Directors to the board, bringing the total number of board members to 5.
Antony Barton, Director of Financial Planning, has been with the firm since 2016 as a Financial Planner and more latterly Senior Financial Planner. Antonyâs role is to ensure that RB clients continue to receive excellent outcomes through developing both our advice proposition and our adviser team. He will continue to provide advice to a number of RBâs clients.
Joanne Vaughan, Director of People and Operations, has also been with RB since 2016 in the role of Practice Manager. Jo is responsible for leading and managing our people to provide excellent service to our clients and she coordinates the operations functions to ensure that the business runs effectively. It is a wide and varied role that brings together every aspect of the business.

Antony Barton has many years financial service experience in large institutions such as HSBC. He also owned and ran his own retail business for 10 years. This experience from inside and outside of the industry gives him valuable insights when looking after RB clients. Joanne Vaughan is a linguist, qualified secondary teacher and executive coach and has spent most of her career managing and developing people. She has worked in and with businesses in the manufacturing, education and professional services sectors and managed customer service and sales teams for a considerable number of years. Her skills and experience are invaluable when running the many aspects of operations within a financial services firm.
In 2022 Jo was shortlisted as a finalist in the national Professional Adviser Women in Finance awards for âTeam Leader of the Yearâ.
