Wesley joined in Benchmark in September 2024 and is the Head of Financial Planning. With nearly 20 years of experience in the financial planning sector, Wesley has held roles at Close Brothers, Investec, and most recently as Wealth Planning Director at Cazenove.
In his current role, Wesley leverages his extensive background to lead and manage the financial planning team with a focus on strategic growth and operational excellence. His leadership is marked by a commitment to fostering a collaborative environment, driving innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial solutions. Wesley’s experience extends beyond individual client relationships to include building and guiding teams of financial planners, working closely with professional advisers, and steering the overall vision and strategy of Benchmark Financial Planning.
As a Chartered financial planner and wealth manager, Wesley is recognised for his ability to integrate strategic oversight with day-to-day management, ensuring that the team remains at the forefront of industry best practices. He is chartered with the CISI and the PFS and holds the certified financial planner qualification.
Once a keen footballer and now a dedicated family man, Wesley spends his weekends coaching kids’ football or supporting his children in their various sports activities and clubs.
