We are delighted to welcome to Robertson Baxter Technical Assistant – Keila Stocks, Keila joined us in January and is already proving herself a valuable and popular member of our support team.
Keila works closely with Gillian Shirt our Technical Manager to ensure that the financial planning reports and letters that detail our advice to clients are of the highest standard. In this role Keila works very closely with new and existing clients as a conduit for all of the information that is gathered on them before extensive research on their existing and potentially new arrangements is conducted.
The role that Keila performs means liaising with every member of the Robertson Baxter team and in particular the advisers to ensure that the advice a client receives is consistent with their aims, objectives and tolerances.
Keilas background is ideally suited to the role that she now performs. After having her children Keila went back into education and obtained a Financial Services degree from Sheffield Hallam University which led to a role in pension benefits at Capita. She left the Financial Services industry briefly in 2009 to qualify as an ICT teacher but found the lure of pensions too great to resist and returned in 2011 to write pension transfer reports and latterly do this on a freelance basis. These experiences have left her well placed to understand a clients needs married with the ability to communicate sometimes complex solutions in an easy to understand format.
The part time role that Keila also performs is as a taxi service to her 4 teenage daughters and she can often be seen walking her dog in and around Derbyshire close to her home in Dronfield. As her daughters grow up Keila has an ambition to continue her financial education and progress to Diploma level and beyond.
