We were honoured today to receive a visit from the Mayor of the Borough of Kirklees, Councillor for Mirfield – Martyn Bolt. The visit was to recognise and thank Robertson Baxter for the support that we have shown to One Community Foundation for Kirklees since its inception in 2010. One Community has been chosen as this years Mayors Charity.
Director Stephen Baxter said, “we were thrilled to receive the visit from Martyn, as a business in Huddersfield we have been keen to support the amazing work that One Community have undertaken, by giving them our time and expertise, it was terrific to be recognised and thanked in person by the Mayor.”
One Community is a non-profit organisation that provides funding for voluntary community action throughout Kirklees by establishing endowment funds that generate increasing levels of income to provide grants. It is the investment of these endowment funds and the managing of income that Robertson Baxter has advised One Community.
